A new sketch set

The theme was the Alice in Wonderland series. I leaned more towards Through the Looking Glass, as not as many people are familiar with it. Each character is to have two styles for them. The lion only has one as the other is in progress. The initial theme is "Of Dreams and Nightmares". The first variants are to be more nightmarish, while the second set the dreams.

The lion. Originally combating a unicorn for the white king's crown, it is said that he is big and slow, and stupid, but the superior of the fighters.

The Lion variant 1
Focus: combat experienced and size.

The Lion variant 2
Focus: big, slow, stupid

The mad hatter's origins are that of intrigue. The phrase "mad as a hatter" stems from the fact that hats were once dipped in mercury to help cure the felt used in the hats. The toxic fumes eventually drove the workers and the hat's owners to lose their mind as a result of mercury poisoning. The Hatter in Alice in wonderland is constantly drinking tea because of the red queen. When he attempted to sing to her, she declared that his singing was so horrible that it "killed time". Being mad as he is, the hatter believed her and has since believed time to be dead.

The Mad Hatter variant 1
Focus: Rejection of time and symptoms of mercury poisoning

The Mad Hatter variant 2
Focus: symptoms of mercury poisoning

The White Knight was considered the kindest person Alice had run into during her time in wonderland, resulting in her having the fondest memories of him. It was said that he was an inventor, though his inventions were bizarre and practically useless. He was also very clumsy, in that he would always fall off his horse and land on his head.

The White Knight variant 1
Focus: Inventor

The White Knight variant 2
Focus: clumsiness

The Carpenter Variant 1
Focus:thin, bumbling, unkempt simpleton

The Carpenter Variant 2
Focus: veteran, grizzled, battle hardened

Its slow going in the construct of things

The site itself is slowly getting to a better standard, and the reel is shaping up nicely. Still can't get that pesky rig to function just right, but its due to the geometry colliding in ways I hadn't predicted, so that's slowing things on the spartan. Meanwhile, the lip sync project from class is near done. just a few minor tweaks to the body movement and the mouth, and it should be good to go.
